She won the Australian Open in January, beating Sabalenka in the final, but had a rocky Queen's, losing a three setter to Katie Boulter, after which she briefly deactivated her Instagram amid online abuse. The Wimbledon 2026 draw is out: seeded 2, fourth quarter, opening against Lois Boisson.

Grass is her best surface. She won Wimbledon in 2022 for her maiden major and carries a grass win rate around 73 percent, regularly near the top of pre Wimbledon form lists.
